The Stewed Tomatoes believe the best songs get better with a little seasoning. This four-piece acoustic band takes well-known tunes and serves them up their own way—sometimes simmered low and slow, sometimes mashed together, and always full of flavor. A few original recipes make their way onto the menu, too.

 

With male and female lead vocals and a mix of guitar, upright bass, violin, mandolin, and saxophone, their sound blends classic rock, country, folk, blues, and soul into something familiar but never predictable. Audience sing-alongs and participation are welcome whenever the mood strikes, but the music stands just as strong if you’d rather sit back and listen.
